I have been savouring your delicious meats for the first time over the past weeks and can now appreciate that you are, indeed, in a class of your own. You must have many, very satisfied, repeat customers. In your last email to me, you asked whether I were interested in any other meats. I am: veal, offal, ham, possibly venison, and game when in season. I trust all is well with you and look forward to the delivery on Thursday 10 March, if that is convenient. The meat was moist and very tender with a great taste - a real hit. I have had so much casserole steak which has been tough, dry and tasteless but your meat was superb.

'We have been coming to the Farm Shop for about 8 months now and each time it just gets better and better! There is always something new to try and the meat really is the best we have ever tasted. Geoff and Mike are really knowledge and their butchery skills are first class. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Our favourite cut of meat, one that we buy every time we visit, is the Noistette of Lamb. We simply season it and roast in the oven. Served with homemade chips and vegatables, its really delicious and you can taste the excellent quality of the meat.

People come a considerable distance to shop at Andrew Jackson's Great Tasting Meat Company. The best bit is the stunning display of meat. Their beefburgers won the National Supreme Champions award at the Meat and Food Traders’ Food and Meatex show in Birmingham 2008. The shop is particularly good for barbecues. A popular dish for special occasions is their Portmanteau - a boneless loin of lamb, stuffed with liver, onion, smoked bacon and mushroom pate and covered in breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese.
